Established in 1978 by the late Ustad Fazzal Murad, King David Music Academy has been dedicated to nurturing worship and music skills in young talents. Today, Zareef Shahzad carries forward this mission, teaching children how to use their musical gifts to honor and glorify God.
At King David Music Academy, we focus on blending spiritual devotion with musical excellence. Students learn the art of worship through instruments and melodies, growing in both skill and faith. Our goal is to inspire a generation of worshipers who can use their talents to make a lasting spiritual impact.
Collaboration with Yuvaan Records
In 2021, King David Music Academy proudly partnered with Yuvaan Records, marking a significant milestone in its journey. This collaboration has enabled the academy to offer its students real-world exposure, providing opportunities to work on professional projects and showcase their talents on larger platforms. Together, they have created a synergy that bridges education and the music industry, empowering students to excel in their musical careers.
King David Music Academy continues to inspire and cultivate the next generation of musicians, staying true to its mission of making music education accessible and impactful.
On October 7, 2019, God blessed Founder and CEO Kashif Khokhar and his wife, Iram, with a baby boy, whom they named Yuuvaan, meaning “youthful.” I reconnected with one of my school friends through Facebook and saw him singing some gospel songs. I asked if he had ever thought of recording his own gospel music. He replied, “I want to, but I don’t have the money to do this.”
I realized that even though he comes from an affluent family, he still couldn’t afford to record his gospel music and praise the Lord Jesus Christ. This made me think about the many other blessed and talented Christian youths who want to glorify Jesus but lack the resources. That gave me the idea to create a platform for deserving young people where they can come and glorify Jesus without worrying about expenses.
It’s been five years now, and I have been working on this mission single-handedly, without any external support or donations. I want to keep going because I believe this is the mission God has chosen for me. All I need is your prayers and support so I can stay on this path and keep glorifying my Savior, Jesus Christ.
